Why I founded Frakcja Info
Before I started this project in 2018, I worked for 7 years in an accounting office in Siedlce. I saw hundreds of people there who were afraid to open letters from the tax office. Law in Poland is written so that no one can understand it without a lawyer. I decided to change that. We checked it at the source – most regulations can be explained in four sentences if you strip away the bureaucratic jargon. I simply explain concretely how much money will stay in your pocket after the next change in regulations.
Experience with hard data
Last year, I analyzed exactly 147 municipal budgets and 3 major amendments to PIT acts. My job is not to judge politicians, but to count their errors in Excel spreadsheets. To be honest, most people don't have time to read 234 pages of justification for a new tax relief. I do it for them. The average analysis of one document takes me about 6.5 hours of pure work with the source text, but thanks to that, you get pure facts without unnecessary padding. That's all there is to it.

My approach to work
You won't find charts that say nothing here. If I write about inflation, I check prices in 4 local shops, not just in official communications. Without the fluff, I show where the state takes more from us and where it actually gives something back. My reports have already helped 83 local entrepreneurs avoid penalties for misunderstanding the regulations on the new VAT matrix. I don't pretend to know everything, but if something isn't in the act, it means it doesn't exist.
Sometimes preparing a single text requires sitting over documents until 3:00 AM (coffee disappears by the liter then), but I prefer that to releasing an unverified rumor. Frakcja Info is a place for those who want to know where their taxes go, without listening to arguments on TV. If an act has errors, I point them out to the last penny. My recent analysis of local road spending showed a discrepancy of 12,000 PLN per single kilometer of asphalt – such things need to be pointed out.
