Analysis in 48 hours

Where do these 48 hours come from?

Most news portals wait for politicians themselves to say what is in a new bill. We do it differently. Our 3-person team on Marszałkowska Street downloads the PDF from the Sejm website immediately after publication. This usually happens at odd hours, for example, on Thursday at 9:14 PM. From that moment, we count the time. We read every sentence to catch the fine print that others miss. Simply concrete.

Numbers everyone can understand

Politicians like to throw billions around because it sounds abstract. We break it down. If the government plans to spend 2.8 billion PLN on a new program, we check how much that will amount to per resident of your city. It often turns out to be the equivalent of 4 loaves of bread per month. We checked this at the source in the 2024 state budget. We don't use difficult words because we know you have little time after work. That's all there is to it.

What does our process look like?

Our work is not about sitting in a TV studio. We sit in spreadsheets. When a project about energy subsidies appeared in March, we reviewed 83 pages of typescript in one night. We calculated then that the average family would save only 14 PLN, and not 100 as promised in the news. Without fluff, we show who really benefits from changes in the law. Sometimes the truth is boring, but with us, it is always true.

Why do we do it?

Frakcja Info was founded in 2021 because we were tired of the gibberish in the media. We saw how people were getting lost in new tax regulations. Over the last 11 months, we have analyzed 47 key acts. Our texts are usually between 300 and 500 words. That's as much as you'll read while drinking your morning coffee before heading for the bus. We focus on what changes in your wallet. If a bill changes nothing, we write about that too. We respect your time.

Concrete results of our work

Our analyses are currently used by 156 regular readers who receive reports directly to their inboxes. We are not a large corporation. We are a group of people who like mathematics and clear rules. Recently, we detected an error in a local resolution project that would have cost residents nearly 320 PLN annually from each household. An amendment was submitted within 19 hours of our publication. This is proof that reading papers quickly makes sense.
